Katie's K9 Academy is a professional dog training service dedicated to providing a balanced and compassionate training approach to build better behavior and fulfill the lives of dogs and their owners in Chester County, Montgomery County, PA and the surrounding areas.
Services
Day School Program
We do the heavy lifting for you. After each session, we provide a lesson that goes over what your dog has learned that day. We also assign homework for the week. This program is perfect for anyone who is struggling with their dog's behavior, such as leash reactivity, not listening to commands, recall, or finding an "off" switch. Trainer pick up and drop off included in program price. Any and all recommended equipment used in training is included in program price.
5 Weeks
$1250
- 4 hours of immersive training in trainers home, once per week.
- Building basic obedience, a solid communication system, leash walking skills, all while focusing on your personal goals.
- Training sessions around other dogs to work on neutrality.
- Play sessions and enrichment throughout the stay.
- Breaks and downtime in crate.
- 1 field trip to a local park, or a pet-friendly store for confidence building and working on real-world scenarios.
- Photo/video updates throughout stay
7 Weeks
$1750

The Ultimate Puppy Package
Puppy under six months old? Get started off on the right paw with our five-week puppy school. We'll help your puppy learn good habits and manners. After each session, we provide a lesson that goes over what your pup has learned that day. We also assign homework for the week Trainer pick up and drop off included in program price. Any and all recommended equipment used in training is included in program price.
5 Week Puppy School

Pet Care Plus
We offer dog care services for busy individuals while they are away from home. Services include training sessions to start building good behavior. Equipment and tools are not included in the price of our services. However, we will recommend the best tools for your dog and your training goals.
Structured Walk - 30 min
$50
- Starts to build leash walking skills.
- Exercise and mental stimulation.
- Trainer may recommend changing gear/equipment as needed.
- Trainer will teach you how to use any and all tools properly.
- Photo/video updates throughout walk.
Drop In Visit - 1 hour
$100
- Potty, Play, Train.
- Exercise and mental stimulation.
- Work on basic obedience skills and building a solid communication system to reach your personal goals.
- Trainer may recommend changing gear/equipment as needed.
- Trainer will teach you how to use any and all tools properly.
- Photo/video updates throughout session.
Field Trip - 1.5 hours
$150
- Price includes trainer pick up and drop off for your dog.
- Trip to a local park for a scenic walk and some recall work, or to a pet friendly store to work on socialization and confidence building.
- Exercise and mental stimulation.
- Work on basic obedience skills and building a solid communication system to reach your personal goals.
- Trainer may recommend changing gear/equipment as needed.
- Trainer will teach you how to use any and all tools properly.
- Photo/video updates throughout trip.
In-Home Lessons
We provide hands-on training for you and your dog. We will guide you through the training process and help you understand and communicate with your dog better. Equipment and tools are not included in the price of our services. However, we will recommend the best tools for your dog and your training goals.
3 Lesson Package

Lessons are fully customizable to you and your dog. We work with you to determine what you want to achieve and then develop a training plan that will help you reach your desired goals.
5 Lesson Package
